What we collect

• Basic server logs. Like most websites, our servers record requests, including IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site secure and working.
• Preferences stored on your device. Your preview text and preview size are saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them. This never leaves your device and we cannot read it.
• Analytics. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which fonts are popular. This is aggregated and not used to identify you.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your personal data.
• We do not require you to create an account.
• We do not run intrusive tracking or fingerprinting.

Cookies and local storage

We use your browser's local storage to remember your preview settings. Any analytics or security tools we use may set their own cookies. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.

Third parties

Font files and some assets are served from our own backend. Fonts remain the property of their respective authors. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites we link to.

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing contact@freefontuniverse.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.
